By downloading or using HomeGuard, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
HomeGuard is a home maintenance tracking application that stores data locally on your device. It helps you track items, schedule maintenance reminders, log service history, and store reference photos for your home.
HomeGuard grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on any Apple device that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
HomeGuard offers a free trial period and a one-time in-app purchase to unlock all features. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and refund policies. We do not process payments directly.
All data you create in HomeGuard is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for backing up your data (via the JSON export feature) and for any loss of data due to device failure, loss, or app deletion. We do not have access to your data and cannot recover it.
You agree to use HomeGuard only for its intended purpose of home maintenance tracking. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
HomeGuard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
HomeGuard provides maintenance reminders and templates as general guidance only. These do not constitute professional advice. Always consult qualified professionals for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural work. We are not responsible for any damage, injury, or loss resulting from maintenance activities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of HomeGuard, including but not limited to loss of data.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which the developer resides.
